Angel Jones
Angel graduated with a BA Economics & English from UCT. She spent 7 years in London working for M&C Saatchi Advertising. She returned home in 2000 to co-found Morrisjones Advertising where she created the kulula.com brand and major campaigns for Discovery, Southern Sun, Appletiser and Wimpy. Her business won Financial Mail’s Small Agency of the Year in 2004 and 2005. Angel was the founder of Homecoming Revolution in 2003. She sold her ad business in 2013 and then stepped fulltime into Homecoming Revolution as CEO.
Angel’s accolades include President Thabo Mbeki State of the Nation mention 2004, Roedean Centenary Keynote 2005, Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Awards finalist 2007, African Leadership Network New Generation Leader 2011, Top 50 Founding Female Founders 2019 and SABC/Shoprite Checkers Woman of the Year Award in Media 2004
Faye Tessendorf
After graduating from Rhodes University in Psychology and Honours in Organisational Consulting, Faye started her career at Robert Walters in London where she recruited top talent for some of the world’s largest Investment Banks. She was an integral part of the Lehman Brothers administration team and was awarded Top Biller across the firm during the 2008 recession.
Robert Walters transferred Faye to their Johannesburg office in 2011 to scale the SA business. She was then headhunted to work at BAIN where she was responsible for all experienced as well as Ivy League MBA hires.
Faye joined Standard Bank CIB Human Resources in 2013 and was responsible for strategic talent management across 21 countries on the continent. Her role involved working across London, New York, South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Cote d’ Ivoire, Mozambique, Ethiopia and Angola. Faye is a seasoned HR professional with expertise in Organisational Design and Strategy.
Kelsey Gauld
Kelsey spent 3 years abroad teaching with EPIK and working within the EdTech space. She then returned home to join LearnLight. She has placed many senior executives across Fintech, Advisory, Insurance and Non-profit. Kelsey has her BA in Political Science & Philosophy and her BA Honours in International Relations from UCT.
