Homecoming Revolution, the brain gain company for Africa, is hosting its inaugural USA event on 25 September.
Taking place at the Thomson Reuters building in Times Square, Speed Meet New York will introduce Africans living in the USA to top employers back home, provide inspirational content and practical tools on returning including property and relocation advice, as well as connect African movers and shakers living in the US in an interactive and dynamic setting.

Attendees will be inspired by exciting keynotes, given practical tools and advice on returning as well as be shown inspirational case studies.
Speakers include South African rocket scientist Siyabulela Xuza (Founder & CEO of GEV Energy), Liz Ngonzi (Afrika Tikkun USA), Amadou Daffe (Coders4Afrika), Thebe Ikalafeng (Brand Leadership), Kyari Bukar (CSCS Plc), Mudunwazi Baloyi (Brand South Africa), Shaori Ajodha (Deloitte) and Sneha Shah (Thomson Reuters Africa).
Kyari Bukar, a Nigerian homecomer and powerhouse in the financial sector, will share his fascinating homecoming experience from directing teams for over 20 years at Hewlett Packard, Silicon Valley to leading a financial renaissance at the centre of Africa’s largest economy.
“My main reason for moving back to Nigeria was altruistic. It was nothing to do with what I could get, but what I could do,” says Bukar.

The Homecoming Revolution team will be dressed by unique African fashion brand KISUA. The brainchild of Ghanaian homecomer Samuel Mensah, the brand dresses global celebrities including Beyoncé Knowles.
